HO HO HO! Card

Hi everyone! :o)

Today I'm sharing with you couple of Christmas cards I made this week.

HO HO HO! Card is the third card I'm sharing today. If you missed the first and second, just scroll down or follow direct links here and here.

All elements on this card are from an awesome Create a Smile 'Snow Dance' kit. :o)

First I made a panel. I cut a designer paper and made snowflakes using stencil and structure paste. I left it dry one day. After drying, I heat embossed sentiment 'HO HO HO!' on the panel.

Image is paper pieced. I used 4 stamped images, 3 stamped on a watercolor paper and one on the designer paper. I colored Santa's face with colored pencils and shaded his beard with light gray colored pencil. I used dry paper stump to blend colors in to paper. I colored Santa's boots with black permanent pen. After coloring, I fussy cut parts I needed, colored edges with black Stabilo pen, softened all pieces with a stylus ball on a soft working mat, glued all pieces together and added final touches with a white pen. I also covered dots on Santa's outfit with gloss resin super-clear to create glossy accents.

At the end, I glued the panel on a white card base, glued 3-D foam pads behind Santa, placed him on the card and my card was finished. :o)

    4. Another gorgeous card - I went to the site to see if I could buy the kit, but they've sold out. Bookmarked the site though, they have some lovely things don't they?

    5. These are super cute cards Milka, I have enjoyed seeing all of them from this series. The little Santa image is adorable and I love how you have been using the structure paste to add the snowflakes directly to the paper. I also like the colours you have chosen for each card, the grey you used today looks fabulous!
      Cheers,
      Beccy
